Behind our massive blue door in the heart of Santa Barbara, you won't just find a store—you'll discover an experience.
Eighteen independent dealers work under one roof at 4 E Yanonali Street, in the Funk Zone. Each buys on their own account, full time, and between them they bring around 150 new pieces to the floor every day. Vintage and antique furniture, art, lighting, decor, and clothing, across three floors.
Carolyn and Brian
Carolyn and Brian opened The Blue Door in 2014, combining her career in interior design with his in business. The building went up in 1922 as a car dealership, and was later a fish processing plant.
From behind the register, the blue doors frame the mountains above Santa Barbara. The wine trail brings people past all afternoon, the sun sets over the train station, and the wood-fired grill across the street starts up in the evening.
The floors
A Don Shoemaker sling chair, a Fred Harvey cuff, and a 1920s oil on board can share a floor. The second floor shows modern and vintage together, arranged as rooms rather than aisles. Vintage clothing is on the third.
New arrivals
At roughly 150 new pieces a day, inventory moves faster than we can photograph it. The website carries what we have managed to list, a fraction of what is in the building. If you are looking for something specific, call 805-364-5144 or email info@thebluedoorsb.com before assuming we do not have it.

Visiting
4 E Yanonali Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. Open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and Sunday, 11am to 5pm, every day of the year except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Parking is reserved behind the building on Helena Avenue. Dogs are welcome. Take your time, take photographs, and take measurements.
Shipping
Small items are packed and shipped in house. Furniture, large art, and lighting are delivered white glove through our freight partners, with rates quoted at checkout. Local delivery to Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Montecito. Pickup at the shop is free.
